 Today in class, we continued the task from yesterday. It was due at the end of class, and once everyone finished, we moved on to another assignment. During class, we had to take a mini-assessment and I got a 95 on it. We were trying to be the best class to have the highest average score. Unfortunately, we weren't able to complete the task. During my fifth period, we kept taking more notes on the new chapter we started the day before. In my last period, we went upstairs to play basketball. My team and I went undefeatable going 4-0.

Today in class, we worked on another assignment using Newsela. It was due at the end of class, and once everyone finished, we moved on to another assignment. After, we had to get into groups of three and work together to figure out an explanation for an article. Unfortunately, we weren't able to complete the task. During my fifth period, we kept taking more notes on the new chapter we started the day before. During the last fifteen minutes of class, I had to leave early because I had to take the flag down for a class.

  Today in class we did more work on Newsela. We had an assignment that was due at the end of class. I almost finished with everything but I left some parts out. So I had to finish the rest for homework. In my 5th period, we started on a new chapter in the book. There were a lot of notes that we had to fill out but I did all of them thankfully. For my last period, we went outside because our teacher wasn't there and we played football. 

 Today in class all we did was work on Newsela. We had an assignment and had to complete it in class. Most students did, but some didn't and had to do it for homework. During my last period, we had a test on what we had been reviewing. It wasnt that hard since we could use the notes we took in class. I think I did pretty well since I filled out all the notes in class. For my last period, we had chest day, which is my favorite exercise. 

 Today in class we went over some topics and we had to write about them. We had to answer ten questions and most of them were hard to do. I didn't really get what to do so the teacher did two of the questions with us to get a headstart. After he helped us I understanded it better, but not completely. I didn't finish all of it in class so I did it over the weekend. In my 7th period we went upstairs to play basketball. The teacher joined us and it was so unfair because he was better than all of us. 

Today in class we went on newsela and read about how hitting "snooze" can boost morning cognition, study hints. I can relate to this topic a lot. When you have an alarm set up for the morning you should always get out of bed when you here it go off. Oftenly people including me press snooze for that extra 5 to 10 more minutes of rest. But what you are really doing to yourself in making yourself more tired. So when you wake up you feel more drowsiness. What you can do to prevent this is going to sleep more early or putting your alarm far away from where you are sleeping so you have to get up to turn it off. 

 Today we had an assignment on newsela about fast-food giants overwork teenagers, driving America's child labor crisis. It was all new to me so I didn't know what to expect to be reading. Before I read the article skimmed through it to see what it was about. After that I thought that it was about how fast-food places negatively impact teenagers in their life's. An example could be having teenagers have long shifts, and leaving late at night. That could impact them in a lot of ways. Once I wasn't struggling with the questions it gave me.
