 I'm absent today because I'm sick. I hope I get some credit this is the finished product 

 I was absent today 

Yesterday I didn't come to class so i had to catch up on what happened but thankfully it wasn't that much to do. My teacher assigned me to go into a group of 4 to make a mini project about a poem. Each person in the group had different jobs to. The job that i picked was to draw about what you think is happening in the poem and put it into a drawing so that's what i did. I finished it all in class but i don't think any of my partners did. Today was a good day other than sadly not making the basketball team other than that my classes were pretty much calm. I had a fun time in 5th period because we were drawing a map of lakeside for a tiny project in ap us history and I also finished all of it in class.

 Today we went of a poem by Robert Frost. The poem is called "Out Out" and we had to analyze the whole poem. We talked about how many different ways people could get killed out of nowhere. Some ways are lifting weights, falling out of a roller coaster, car crashes, etc. We talked about how to tell the setting of the poem which was the time, location, and place. I didn't dislike or like anything today in class it was a chill day. I was feeling good today and it was going good so far.

 1 .  A time when I dressed inappropriately led to something i wasn't expecting. It all started with an invitation to a secret masquerade ball in a big mansion. The character that I chose from the list was a peacock costume that came with a feathered mask. However, when I arrived at the mansion, I quickly realized that it was not a masquerade ball at all but a gala. My costume stood out to the people wearing gowns and tuxedos. Instead of feeling embarrassed, though, my outfit caught the eye of a popular well known billionaire. Little did I know that my character outfit would lead to an evening filled with, unexpected friendships. 2.  At one point in my life there was a time when I found myself playing a meaningless mobile game. It was a simple puzzle game that I played for a really long time. It consumed hours of my daily life. I'd go on my phone determined to beat my own high score over and over again. I wasn't paying attention at all to the outside world around me. ...

 

 Today we wrote notes in our notebook about how to cite textual evidence. There are 4 steps in the part, the first step was direct quote in which you need to do it word for word and two sentences or less. The second step is to summarize the text, the third step is to paraphrase it and put it into your own words. The last step is to make sentence starters like according to the text, the texts states, the passage states, it states, and esc. In class I learned how to cite textual evidence. I didn't dislike anything about class today. I'm feeling ok today it could've been better.
