 I was absent today 

 

 Today we went on illuminate and worked on the assignment that the teacher gave us. I finished as soon as the class ended because I didn’t want homework. I didn’t really learn anything today because I already knew how to do it because I’ve done it before. I didn’t dislike anything in class today because it was an easy assignment. I was feeling good today because I finished my assignment in a different class. The date was going pretty casual. I’m always looking forward to my last period which is weight lifting.

 Today in class we took a little bit of notes. The topic was about format of the Argument Essay. We wrote down the concluding paragraph part, it wasn’t that much work so we got done pretty fast. I learned how write a part of an argument  essay. It was a chill class today so I didn’t dislike anything about it. Today felt pretty good because I got an A on one of my tests. I was also looking forward to work out on my last period so overall I had a good day. 

 Today we took more notes on claim. We talked about that evidence comes from three categories. They were your readings, your experiences, and your observations. I didn’t dislike or like anything so it was a pretty good class. Today was the pep rally so I was excited for that. All the classes were like 30 minutes long so it was fun. In homeroom I could hear them already yelling, so I was really looking forward to go there. When my friends and I got there we went with another group of people, we got the players hyped up for the game later tonight, there were also games that people played. It was seniors vs juniors I think the seniors won one and the juniors won one.

 Today we opened our chromebooks to work on something doing with Donald trump, and Hillary Clinton. We watched video commercials about clinton talking and about trump and trump talking bad about clinton. We had to figure out what the answers were with our notes we took Tuesday. The impacts this assignment gave me was that not everything you see on television is true. Words can be stored up and sound worse than it is. After we finished, we did more notes on how to make good body paragraphs. He gave us six steps on how to make them presentable, first make a claim, second give evidence, third explain evidence, fourth give another type of evidence, fifth explain your evidence and last is to conclude. It was a pretty good day today, we had picture day and I think my picture was ok.

 Today in class we had a test on Emily Dickson quotes. The impact the test gave me was it would be easier to take others tests in the future because it would be more familiar. What I liked about the test is that it was all multiple choice. What I dislikes about the test was that it took the whole period to do it. It was a pretty good day because I got to talk to all of my friends. The whole day I was looking forward to my last period because school would. Also because I had weight training that period.

 Today we started back on the 20 quotes that we have been doing this week. It was due at the end of the period so I had a lot of work to do. The teacher played a documentary of Emily Dickinson on YouTube while we were writing. I had 15 left to do out of the 20. I had a little bit of help because on some some of the quotes I was struggling. When I was working I was listening to music so I could concentrate better. I finished as soon as the bell rang. 

 Today we continued with the Emily Dickinson quotes. We did two together as a class, same as yesterday. It was cool to learn more about how to actually understand what quotes mean. There were steps on how to summarize what it’s saying. They are the theme, conflict, analyze, and topic, this helped a lot more than I thought It would. After we had to do three or four by ourselves. I only got three done but I was close to finishing the fourth one. 

    Today we had to give our one pagers to the teacher and present to the class, but we didn’t. The reason why we didn’t is because no enough people had turned it in so it wouldn’t be fair if only a handful of people did it. Then he gave us a piece of paper full of Emily Dickinson quotes. We had to read it first and then summarize them. We logged into a website on our Chromebook to write about all the different quotes. We only did one as a class to understand how to it for the future. 

 

 Today we went over what we had to do over the weekend. The teacher gave us a little project about Emily Dickinsons poems. Everyone got different poems from her and had to analyze it. We had to make a one over which is basically a response to a reading or it’s a way for you to own what you are reading. I started making it in class because he said it’s due by the end of class, but after class ended he said it’s due by next week. When I went home the first thing I did was finishing up the project so I won’t have anything else to do.
